Missions Ministry

The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field (Luke 10:2)

Servant Hands Ministry Update

The Servant Hands Ministry (SHM) that offers free food and clothing will begin on July 8, 2017. Future distribution dates are every 2nd and 4th Saturday in the months of July, August, September, and October: July 8, 22; August 12, 26; September 9, 23; and October 14, 28.

There are three ways in which you may serve:

  1. Pray for the success of the ministry: for good weather on distribution days, for the farmers growing the crops, and the recipients who will receive these gifts.
  2. Donate clean and gently used clothing on hangers, shoes, handbags, and jewelry. We especially need men’s, children, and infant clothing. We will accept small working household appliances, pots, pans, and bedding. Because we don’t have storage, please bring donated items only on the distribution days (listed above) at 8:00am. All donors will receive a TAX DONATION SLIP if requested.
  3. Sign up to be a Servant Volunteer to help set-up, organize and disseminate the food and clothing. Sign-ups are being taken in the atrium. Servant Volunteers are needed on distribution days from 8:30- noon.

Servant Hands Ministry: 2017

The Servant Hands Ministry (SHM) will begin in July. This ministry distributes free clothing and fresh produce to the community from our church parking lot. The 2017 distribution dates are every 2nd and 4th Saturday in the months of July, August, September and October. We will be signing-up workers today and every Sunday in June in the church atrium. Please consider helping in one of the many needed areas. You are needed from 8:30am until noon. We especially need people to help with set-up and clean-up. Thanks for your help in the past and for your future service.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
