Transportation Ministry

 - Chairperson

Our purpose is to provide transportation for our senior members to church worship services and other church sponsored events.

Wedding Coordinator

Lorraine Pittman

The wedding coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of weddings (including rehearsals), that have to do with the use of the Sanctuary as well as other areas of the church (i.e. kitchen, atrium).  The coordinator provides assistance and gives directions as it relates to procedure and protocol.  This is particularly important for non-member weddings.

Young Adult Ministry (Ages Post-High School thru 30)

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together…but let us encourage one another...." ~Hebrews 10:24-25

  • To bring together young adults between the ages of post-high school thru age 30 who have a common purpose in seeking a redemptive relationship with God.
  • To study the Word of God for application to everyday living.
  • To come together in faith, fun, and fellowship.

Mission Statement:
Our mission is to build a ministry based on the foundation of God’s Word. The Young Adult Ministry serves to foster camaraderie and fellowship between those post-high school thru age 30 as they explore how to integrate their faith into their lives and through life transitions. Whether in our educational, career or relationship objectives, this ministry strives to empower and strengthen young adults to make Christ-focused decisions as well as to be actively engaged in the life of FMBC. We seek to be Real—authentic in our belief that there is one God in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; Relevant—involved in the overall mission of FMBC; Relational—engaged with one another and members of FMBC through fun and fellowship; and Revolutionary, as we believe that the message of Jesus Christ is the greatest revolutionary message of all time. We further seek to minister to the whole person in the spirit of the Call of FMBC, that is, to “Equip the Saints for Ministry.”
