Fellowship is blessed to be able to carry out its mission and ministries because of the support we have received from organizations like the Minneapolis Foundation.  We are blessed beyond measure to have this agency as our partner in community outreach initiatives, such as Conversations With Chanda.  This particular event found FMBC as the host facility of their panel discussion that featured Dr. Yusuf Salaam of the Exonerated Five along with some of our local elected officials in the state’s criminal justice system.

We are additionally blessed to have been recipients of grants from the Foundation, which allow us to be more effective and efficient in serving our community.  We are pleased to announce FMBC is the recipient of the Minneapolis Foundation’s Organizational Effectiveness Grant in the amount of $35,000.  With this grant, Fellowship will be able to enhance our Information Technology and Audio Visual infrastructure inside of the church and the Center for Families.  These improvements will allow us to better connect with our members and the community, allowing them access to our services via web streaming, and to our facilities as a destination of choice for hosting events that require media solutions.

We’d like to express our deep gratitude to Chanda Smith Baker, Senior Vice President of Community Impact, Minneapolis Foundation.  We thank God for her leadership and her advocacy.  God be praised!
