Mission Ministry Units

(To replace the 2011-13 Mission Strategic Goals)

Congregational Missions

Guiding Scripture: Gal. 6:10 – Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Purpose: To come alongside fellow church members in time of need.

Community Missions

Guiding Scripture: Luke 6:36 – Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful 

Purpose: To meet the needs of others through charitable giving and service.

World Missions

Guiding Scripture: Mark 16:15 – Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.

Purposes: To advance the kingdom of God through intercultural ministries outside the United States and provide opportunities for FMBC members to personally become involved in world missions.

Mission Education

Guiding Scripture: II Tim. 3:16 – All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Purpose: To provide on-going training and educational opportunities in the area of outreach missions.
