My Faith Journey

I accepted Christ at an early age and was grown and groomed by my church family in the word. Some of my most influential and life-changing mentoring relationships and friendships began in the church and became my chosen family.  The hand of God has remained present through every phase of my life–school, marriage and divorce, and motherhood.  I know Him to be a God of restoration when it seemed life’s twists and turns had taken their toll on me. He has insured the realization of my original divine purpose.   I’m grateful for the love of music that He poured into me that has been a metaphor and backdrop of my faith journey from the beginning until now and I’m proud to serve in the Music Ministry.

Family

I am a daughter, a sister of two brothers, and mother of three children who keep me on my toes.

Favorite Bible Verse

The scripture that I hold tightly to is, Jeremiah 29:11– For I know the plans for you says the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Hobbies

I love laughing, listening to live music, reading biographies and watching in awe at the manifestation of God’s gifts and purpose in our lives. I never grow tired of looking at the hand of God in my life and in the lives of others!
