My Faith Journey

I grew up in Zion Baptist Church where I was baptized at the age of 11. I had a mother who always arranged a ride for me (and my brother, when he came along) to attend church when she had to work. Through “growing up in the church” God has kept me. He has kept sane when insanity was circling the cusp, he kept me safe when I made mistakes and he kept me circled by angels when the enemy warred against me. God has shown me what HE can do no matter what is going on in my life and how He can use your church family to support, encourage and stand still with you to ensure you fulfill His calling on your life.

Family

My immediate family consists of my loving husband and our three children. We are rounded out by our parents, siblings and “framily” (friends who are family).

Hobbies

Crafting, writing, dancing, woodworking, sewing and being outdoors
