GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY!

2nd Chance Outreach, KMOJ and the Harold Mezile North Community YMCA are hosting the 2nd annual Back-To-School event. Our aim and purpose for this year’s event is to assist in taking the burden off parents as it relates to the purchase of school supplies. Therefore, we are joining forces with other community organizations in order to provide backpacks to as many as 1,500 families. Furthermore, we want to provide an opportunity for the entire family to come out and enjoy activities together, share information regarding healthcare, healthy eating, job opportunities and offer healthcare screening to needed families. We invite you to come out on August 17, 2019, from 1pm to 5pm, to take part in the food, games, entertainment, healthcare screening, job fair and other activities.
