My Faith Journey

Following Jesus was the best decision I’ve ever made. Initially, I thought that all my troubles, concerns and issues would be over when my Jesus decision was made. But I’m not sure how many felt the same way. What I have learned on this journey that it is to wait on God and to remove me out of His way. All these are words that sounds easy, however, As I walk this Faith journey what I have come to realize is there are steps I had and continue to follow to keep my life in line with Jesus. After accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I had to start going to a Sunday School, bible study and fellowshipping with other Believers. I have to pray for the Holy Spirit to teach more revelation knowledge of God’s word. Learning that troubles will come but having Jesus Christ as my Savior and the Holy Spirit as my Teacher that there is always a right way to handle adversity and it is through God’s Word and relying on the Holy Spirit to show me how to handle that Word. So, I have to pray without ceasing, meaning to pray about everything not out loud all the time but within. Seek God’s face, meaning seeking direction for everything, great and small. the more I walk this journey the more my Faith increases because I am learning more and more to trust God and His Word, the more power He entrust in me. This is a journey to walk from cradle to grave with the assurance that God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit is right there in control of all things.
