The College & Post-Secondary Ministry aims to support and nurture all trade, vocational, college, and university students throughout their years in school. Space is created for the students to gather together when they are home for winter and summer break. In these spaces they can network, share their challenges and successes, and simply be in the presence of others who are navigating similar paths. They are also able to mentor those high school students coming behind them, who will soon embark on their own academic pursuits. Our high school students are given time in the presence of the college and trade/vocation school scholars. While in each other’s presence, there can be a transfer of knowledge and information that is based on first-hand experiences.
FMBC counts it a privilege and a blessing to be able to invest in our students, in whom we are extraordinarily proud. Their futures are bright!
